Toshiba Shares Soared Higher

Shares of Toshiba edged higher to 7 percent in today’s morning trade after a report stated that the company’s auditor would “sign off on its annual financial results after months of being at odds with the embattled conglomerate” in a bid to stop the risk of delisting. PricewaterhouseCoopers Aarata (PwC) has not approved Toshiba’s books after being appointed as its auditor in April 2016. Representatives from PwC and Toshiba both declined to comment on this matter.
