French president Emmanuel Macron’s “La République en Marche!” party has obtained an absolute majority with more than 300 seats in the 577-seat National Assembly in the final round of voting on Sunday night. His party was formed just a year ago and still, Macron won by 97 percent of votes in the French parliamentary election.
